The Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Saturday asked the officers to set up four new dump yards on the four sides of Hyderabad megacity, down from domestic areas. According to a government statement, presently, the megapolis has only one dump yard for the entire megacity which is located in the Jawahar Nagar area of the megacity.
About 8,000 tonnes of scrap is being transported to the Jawahar Nagar dump yard every day, and it's creating trouble for the original people with air pollution and bad smell, the statement added. During the meeting, the officers brought to the notice of the Chief Minister that they had linked new dump yard spots in Shamshabad and Medak in the history to reduce pollution, following which he asked them to examine the spots and establish them without disturbing original people.
In the meeting, Reddy also asked the officers to coordinate with another government organisation to set up a' waste- to- energy' factory so that electricity can be generated from the scrap. METRO RAIL In the meeting with representatives of the Confederation of Indian Industry( CII), Reddy also clarified the design of the metro rail's expansion route.
" before, it was planned to expand the metro services on a 32 km stretch from Gachibowli to the field. It wasn't of important use to the common people," Reddy said in the meeting. He remarked that numerous rich people in the girding areas of Gachibowli and Jubilee Hills are using their private vehicles." The chances of using the metro services on the proposed Gouliguda-- Falak Nama-- Airport route and LB Nagar field route are advanced," he added. He further said that this route will help several people who go to the field.
MUSI RIVERFRONT DEVELOPMENT Speaking on the Musi Riverfront development design, Reddy reiterated the government's commitment for the development of the design. As per the Chief Minister, the government is determined to develop the entire area from Ring Road to Ring Road. " The government proposed to set up transnational- position recreation premises , falls, children's water sports, road merchandisers, business centres, and shopping promenades with unique designs in the catchment area of Musi River," he said in the meeting.
He also suggested the development of a tourism circuit by connecting literal structures like Charminar, Golconda, Seven sepultures, and Taramati Baradari located on the banks of the Musi River. He asked the officers to make check heads and install water cradles and falls in the Musi catchment area.
