Dunki: Shah Rukh Khan's Film Emerges As The 3rd Blockbuster Opener In Australia, New Zealand; Details Inside

 Eliciting the love for the  motherland, Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki has arrived on the big  defenses. While the film talks about the narrative of love and  fellowship, it also presents the story of those NRIs who live abroad and miss their country and  motherland.   This has indeed touched the hearts of millions of people who live in Australia and New Zealand.

Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki had anon-holiday release and witnessed a good opening day at the box office. The film, which marks SRK's third release of the time, is directed by Rajkumar Hirani and has collected Rs 30 crores at the box office. The film had recorded a Rs15.41 crore collection during the advance bookings. As the film clashes with Prabhas' Salaar, all eyes are on the film to see how it manages to give the Telugu film a competition. 

  According toSacnilk.com, the biggest  residency for Dunki on its day 1 has been recorded in Kolkata. Kolkata witnessed an overall  residency of55.25, followed by Hyderabad(37.75), Chennai( 38), Chandigarh( 34), NCR( 31), Jaipur( 30), Mumbai(29.75) and Bengaluru( 28). The loftiest  residency was recorded in the night shows. The box office reporting platform also stated that the advance bookings for day 2 are in and the film has recorded Rs9.05 Cr. 

  Although good business, Dunki couldn't beat the opening day records set by Shah Rukh  former two 2023 releases, Pathaan and Jawan. Pathaan recorded an opening day collection of Rs 57 crore whereas Jawan collected Rs74.50 across all languages in India.  

 Dunki features an ensemble cast, with  various characters portrayed by exceptionally talented actors Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover, along with Shah Rukh Khan. A JIO Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Rajkumar Hirani flicks  donation, produced by Rajkumar Hirani and Gauri Khan Written by Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani, and Kanika Dhillon, Dunki is now released on the big screen.
