Mayawati's Bahujan Samaj Party( BSP) has demanded she be made the high clerical face for the forthcoming 2024 Lok Sabha choices. Speaking to Aaj Tak/ India Today's family channel Good News moment, BSP MP Malook Nagar on Thursday said. " Mayawati Ji should be declared as Prime Ministerial seeker". The reflections were being viewed as a condition by Mayawati's party to join the opposition INDIA bloc.
Speaking in reference to Congress principal Mallikarjun Kharge's name put forth by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Nagar said," Congress must apologise to Mayawati Ji for taking away some of our MLAs and declare her as a high clerical seeker, also only INDIA alliance can stop the BJP in 2024." " No bone can be better than Mayawati Ji if Congress wants a Dalit face for the PM's post," he said, adding," Mayawati ji will clearly suppose with a positive station if Congress agrees to our terms."
This comes as the BSP has preferred to maintain a policy of keeping down from the INDIA alliance and the BJP- led National Democratic Alliance( NDA). " We've13.5 percent vote share in Uttar Pradesh and whichever way it swings, we will have an edge. We can win further than 60 seats if Mayawati is declared as the high clerical face," Nagar said. The BSP MP also refuted his party's differences with the Samajwadi Party. " Let me tell you Akhilesh Yadav noway raised expostulations over Mayawati joining the INDIA alliance. Reports suggesting Akhilesh is unhappy with Mayawati are fully false."
" In fact, Akhilesh Yadav was angry with Congress for not giving seats to his party in the lately concluded Madhya Pradesh assembly choices," Nagar said. Speaking further, Nagar said," The BJP formed a government in Madhya Pradesh because the Yadav community was unhappy with Congress for not accommodating the Samajwadi Party. I suppose we do not have any differences with the Samajwadi Party, politics is a game of perception."
" Only Congress will have to understand and exfoliate its arrogance," he said. On December 24, Rashtriya Lok Dal principal Jayant Chaudhary said there were no addresses to include the BSP in the opposition INDIA bloc. " We aren't talking to the BSP. The media is running news, but the BSP has to decide on this," he said. " BSP principal Mayawati has been saying from day one that she doesn't want to join the INDIA bloc.
She can not be included in the alliance by force," Chaudhary said. before, Samajwadi Party leader Shivpal Yadav had expressed confidence that the INDIA bloc will master the BJP in the 2024 general choices. About seat sharing in the alliance, he told journalists that there's still time to decide the distribution of seats and addresses will be held on the issue.
